Global Change maker – British Council
The Global Changemakers are a select group of young people who have demonstrated a significant track record of achievement in their local communities through social entrepreneurship, community activism and volunteer work. These exceptional young people are part of a global network that shares ideas, knowledge and best practices. They work individually and together on projects that directly impact the lives of those in their local communities.
Chiara was selected as Global Changemaker from Italy in 2008 and has actively represented the network for over 12 years in various projects, events and the press
The 15th Premio di Monopoli is a prestigious award given by the city of Monopoli, in the Puglia region in Italy. The award recognizes best-in-class talent from the region who have made a significant impact in the world through their careers and activism.
Chiara was the first woman to be awarded the ‘Young Italian in the World’ award in 2014 and she was recognized as an emerging young leader within Italian and European politics.
European Charlemagne Youth Prize Italy, 2008
Jointly awarded by the European Parliament and the International Charlemagne Foundation, the Charlemagne Youth Prize is the most prestigious prize in the European Union and celebrates initiatives that are run by young people in society. Previous laureates include Sir Winston Churchill, Henry A. Kissinger, Angela Merkel, Jean Monnet, and Robert Schuman, among others. Chiara was awarded the prize by Angela Merkel in May 2008, and she represented Italy.
Williamson Scholarship Winner
The Williamson Excellence scholarship is awarded every year to top undergraduate degree students in international politics to pursue their dissertation research in another country.
Chiara was awarded the Williamson scholarship for her dissertation in US-Qatar bilateral relation post 9/11.
